Terry, you are one of the good ones who has been taken too soon. You were such a good-natured and highly knowledgeable guy and it was my privilege to know you and consider you a friend, even for an Air Force guy! Thanks for recommending that I return to school and for pointing me in the right direction for first steps. Me and "My Heidi" will hold you and "Your Heidi" in our thoughts and prayers. RIP, Brother.

Terry and I were not great friends but we were more than acquaintances. We served in the military together and during that time he is one of few people that have a longing impression on me.

We used to spend our breaks outside, playing hacky sack with a group of 5 or more at any given time. We talked alot about music, specifically Garfield and Garfunkel. We argued a lot on lyrics, and usually he was right.

I always thought of him as an incredibly smart person, but most of all an ambitious one.

Like many, I sit here and wish I had the chance to have known him better, and like him, this only shows how precious life truly is. You will be missed. Thoughts and prayers for the family...and Terry, you were right, my brother. It was lie la lie, not by the light. God Bless.

My sincerest condolences to Terry's wife, parents, sister, and all of his friends who loved him dearly. Terry was a one-of-a-kind man, funny, energizing, and kind. He never let an opportunity pass by to share a kind word or make someone laugh. He was a hard-working man, with passion and drive, and he was determined to make the world a better place in the short time we had him here. He impacted everyone who knew him in a positive way, and the world truly is a better place because he was in it. Thank you, Terry, for putting your smile in the hearts of everyone who crossed paths with you.

Our Dear Terry Thomas who left us so soon - you will be missed by so many of us - the imprint you left on so many hearts. I was so blessed your parents shared a lot of your childhood days with me - so many memories and so many pictures to look back at. you were so sweet you could melt anyone heart with that smile of yours - always making sure we heard every word you said - and a great listener - so gentle with animals - and so generous with hugs - so many laughs it would take a book to fill all those memories and stories. You were so easy to love - God bless you always - I wont say Good bye - just so long till we meet again.

Give my Dad a kiss for me -

I knew Terry for what seems a short time, we did some very nice business together. In that time I found him to be wonderfully engaging, bright, compassionate with deep integrity. He had great passion for everything he got involved in.

I met him through the Park City Area Home Builders and was immediately impressed with his enthusiasm.

My sincerest sympathies go out to all his family and friends for their loss. I know that I will miss him. It appears that God has a new Angel.

Warmest Regards to his family,

News of Terry's departure came in as a shock when I saw the post on Facebook. I had the privilege to work with Terry at GE in Salt Lake, and what an amazing human being he was ... not only a hard worker, but fundamentally a good and decent human being that always cared and focused on doing the right thing. Terry was one of those few people that were simply, fundamentally and sincerely good. I offer my most sincere condolences to his wife, family, friends and acquaintances.

My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends;
It gives a lovely light! - Edna St Vincent Millay

I first met Terry just before he turned 2, when I began dating his Aunt Marianne, who often baby-sat Terry. For those who met Terry later in his life, not much had changed about him, he was still the happy, positive, extremely bright person I first encountered 31 years ago.

Love you and see you again soon- Uncle Bill
