Eleanor L. Judd
Sun City, Arizona/Formerly of Panguitch
Alice Eleanor Judd, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully following a short illness on July 2, 2018 Phoenix. She was surrounded by loving family in life and at her passing who take comfort in knowing our dad was there to embrace "Miss Ellie", the queen of his life, accompanied by their daughter and grandson.
She was born March 4, 1929 in Panguitch, Utah to Glen Steele Lee and Mary Schow. She married Joseph Richard Judd on October 9, 1949. Their first home was in Cedar City, Utah. In 1962 they moved to Lander, Wyoming where they raised their family.
Our mom created a loving and beautiful home that leaves her family with memories of freshly baked cookies and a spotless place to return to each day.
She and J.R. left Lander in 1985 and settled in Sun City, Arizona after spending time in Colombia, South America and Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in various callings and made many lasting friendships.
Growing up in Panguitch provided her with happy memories of the years she spent with her cherished parents and brothers, Wally and Dick. She often reflected on her high school years and her closest friends who were known as the "Double 2’s".
She and JR were blessed with four children, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is survived by children: Jill (Dave) Fuller, LeeAnn (Mike) Seat, and Matt Judd; brother, Dick (Donnie) Lee. Preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Mary Lou; and grandson, Scott; brother Wallace Lee.
