Betty Lou Worley
Betty Lou Larsen Worley, 97, passed away November 3, 2019 in Monroe. She was born March 24, 1922 in Monroe to Elliott and Marion Clementina Morrison Larsen. She married Leland B. Duffin November 19, 1945 in Salt Lake, later divorced. She married Dr. William Raymond Worley, Jr. September 14, 1968 in Richield. The marriage was solemnized March 22, 1974 in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death January 6, 2000.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Betty Lou served in many callings and love to participate in road shows and musicals. She was part of the Sevier Stake Centennial Committee. And a member of various bridge clubs. She and Bill loved spending time on their houseboat at Lake Powell, flying their plane, traveling and spending time at the park model in St. George.
Betty Lou is survived by her children: Lisa (Mark) King, Monroe; John (Karen) Worley, Richfield; Judi Worley (Charlie Brenner), WA; Robyn (Parvin) Church, Salt Lake City; daughters-in-law: Elizabeth Duffin, West Valley City; Shauna Knowlton; 22 grandchildren, several great and great-great-grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her parents; sons: Gregory Duffin, Dr. Michael Duffin and Dr. Michael Worley; great-granddaughter, Kycie Jai Terry; siblings: Elliott Deen Larsen, Max (Maida) Larsen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 S 100 W, Richfield, where friends may call Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. or Saturday morning from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
