Brent Zufelt, 69, passed away suddenly at his home in Glenwood, Utah, July 30, 2018. He was born March 8, 1949 in Richfield to Richard Ray and Leah Emma Bulow Zufelt. He married Nyala Bredsguard, August 25, 1972 in the Manti Temple.
Brent is a life long resident of Sevier Valley. He touched many peoples lives with his many talents. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to be in the mountains...any reason was a good enough reason to be up there. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch with Nyala and his view of Cove Mountain.
Brent most recently retired from Larsen’s Ace Hardware, he enjoyed visiting with the customers he served as they came into the store.
He is survived by his wife, Nyala; children: Regina Marx, Jackie (Ryan) Nowers, Richard (Jana) Zufelt, Angela (Billy) Spafford, Wayne (Chelsea) Zufelt, Jilleen (Kenneth) Walker; 17 grandchildren; his many dogs; siblings: Darrell R (Jan) Zufelt, Robert Lane Zufelt, Rosalie Ann Holdaway. He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant grandson, Kage Spafford.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Glenwood LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Friday evening from 6 to 8 or at the ward chapel in Glenwood on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to either the Glenwood Ward bishop or to Magleby Mortuary to go toward Brent's funeral services
