Glen L Anderson
Glen LeRoy Anderson, 94, of Ephraim, passed away March 1, 2022 in Nephi, Utah. He was born on April 30, 1927 in Ephraim, Utah to Joseph LeRoy and Henrietta Mickelsen Anderson.
Glen served his country in the United States Army during both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He married Bertha Clay Peterson Ogden on November 7, 1959 in Ephraim, Utah. She passed away May 31, 2018.
Glen loved the mountains. He worked hard as a Lumberjack where he was his own boss. He learned his trade and skills from his father. He had an infectious smile, was sweet, kind, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was honest and generous in his dealings with others and known around town as a gentle giant.
Glen is survived by his children: Carol (Casey, deceased) Waycasy, of Springville; Holly (Terry) Fonville, of Castle Dale; Brian (Shelly) Anderson, of Hurricane; Susan (Michael) Bellows, of Gilbert, AZ; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings: Grant (Colleen, deceased) Anderson, LaRue (Joe, deceased) Greenland, Leigh (Bendt, deceased) Johnson, and Tony (Joyce) Anderson.
Preceded in death by his wife, Bertha; brother, Clair (Darlene) Anderson; son, Mitchell Anderson; stepchildren, Larry Ogden and Cheryl Ogden.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ephraim North Ward Building. Friends may call prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery with military honors.
