From the day he was born, Buddy was a free spirit who walked to the beat of his own drum—and had a great time doing it. We are sure going to miss this guy big. Buddy’s favorite pastime was shooting pool, where he found a wonderful group of friends to share his love for the game. He was an incredible pool player and loved teaching others the tricks of the trade.

One thing about Bud was his sense of humor; you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth. He always kept us on our toes. Buddy had the biggest heart and was so generous to those who needed it most. He gave the best hugs, was always happy, close to God, and truly lived life to the fullest. We will miss his smile and laughter—he leaves a big hole in our hearts.

Buddy was born on September 30, 1955, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, to AJ and Chiquita Mahler. He is survived by his children, Brian Mahler and Dustin Mahler; his siblings, JW Littleton, Andy Mahler, Cameron (Barry) Reigel, and sister Helen (Mel) Brazell; and many nieces and nephews.

Buddy’s life was filled with laughter, kindness, and faith. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Cremation will be held in the Magleby Mortuary and Cremation Center of Richfield, Salina, and Manti
