With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Almina "Allie" Jean Anderson on February 11, 2026, at the age of 51.

Allie was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and deeply loyal friend, creating a "tribe" that extended beyond blood relations. The tribe she created was the center of her world.

Born January 29, 1975, in Granger, Utah, she lived a short life, yet one defined by strength. She was the epitome of resilience, with an unwavering dedication to those she loved and an amazing ability to care for others.

Her four daughters were her lifelong joy and constant source of pride. Allies' love grew even deeper when she became "Nana" to eight -- soon to be nine -- grandchildren, whom she lovingly referred to as the "grands" of her life. There was nothing she cherished more than hearing their laughter through her home and showering them with a level of intimate connection only she could give.

Allie was a lover of music; she often found healing in its melodies, lighting a cigarette as the tunes carried her through her thoughts and emotions. If the day permitted, she would have spent it in the mountains, where she felt one with nature and closest to God's creation.

Another thing that brought her joy was hosting front-yard gatherings that overflowed her tiny, humble home, creating countless unforgettable moments. Allie loved to cook for the "plentys," a word she used to describe any table surrounded by her loved ones or members of her tribe. Her generous ability to feed the hearts and bodies of all who crossed her path always felt miraculous -- a gift that truly seemed God-given.

Allie was preceded in death by her father, Gregory Homer; her grandparents, Thomas and Laura Gray; her husband, Michael Paul Anderson; her brother, David Joel Christensen; her lifelong friend Crista June Wheeler; her niece, Chelsea Balan; her nephew, Tayln Gray; and her sweet puppy Rufus.

She is survived by her mother, Carla Gray; her brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Renee Steadman; her four beautiful daughters, Jossi Cutler, Shay Noel, Sierra Pallesen, and Rhema Anderson; eight grandchildren; and her devoted partner, Jed LaFevre, who offered her comfort and unconditional acceptance that few could match.

Allie will be remembered for her generosity, her fierce love for her family, her fiery spirit, and the love she offered us all. Her legacy will live on through her girls, through her "grands," and through every life touched by her authenticity and kindness.

Though our hearts are broken, we find peace knowing she has gone to reunite with those who left before her.

Her love remains -- with and within us all -- steady as the mountains she adored and warm as the meals she lovingly prepared. Forever remembered and deeply missed.
