Andy Tuft, Monroe, Utah
Andy Ross Tuft, 48, of Monroe, passed away on February 21, 2024, in Richfield, after a near 3-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Andy was born on April 17, 1975, in Richfield, to Bert and Mickie Tuft of Aurora. He attended Salina Elementary, North Sevier Middle School, and North Sevier High School before graduating from Cedar Ridge High School in Richfield.
On July 29, 2006, he married Rasheina “Sheina” Rae Hatch of Marysville, at Maple Grove Campground. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Kinzy and Kaycee. They made their home in Monroe in Andy’s paternal grandparents’ family home.
Andy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and cherished his relationship with the Lord, finding great joy and strength in his faith through his trials.
Andy’s greatest love was for his wife and daughters. He adored them and dedicated himself to making every moment of their lives wonderful and special. Andy found immense fulfillment in being a stay-at-home dad over the past few years, considering it a profound privilege to spend every precious moment with his family.
He was a talented artist who loved to draw and create. His initials spelled ART, which always brought a smile. He had a passion for gardening and providing for his family, a trait he inherited from his grandfather Anderson.
Andy also had a love for music, particularly Heavy Metal/Hard Rock genres, which he shared with his brother Travis. They had a basement band and enjoyed playing together. One of his last concerts was with Travis, enjoying the melodies of Iron Maiden.
Andy enjoyed connecting with others and was always ready to listen. He cherished spending time with family, playing games, and exploring the outdoors. He loved movie marathons, especially watching The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, accompanied by popcorn and M&M’s. Above all, Andy was proud of his family legacy and the old family home where they lived.
He was known for his kindness and generosity, always willing to help those in need.
