Arthur Charles Beverleigh Sr., 79, of Joseph, Utah, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born February 22, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, Art lived with deep devotion to his family, service to his country, and kindness toward others.

Art proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, embodying the honor, courage, and sense of duty that guided him throughout his life. After his military service, he became a truck driver. Working as a team with his wife, he transported rocket motors from Magna, Utah, to Cape Canaveral, Florida, for the Mars lander that continues to gather data for NASA. Art also founded several companies and was always willing to move his family wherever he felt they could build a home and thrive.

Art’s service to his country came at a lasting cost. Exposure to Agent Orange in Thailand contributed to several serious health conditions, including diabetes, a stroke, a heart attack, and cancer. Through every challenge, he maintained a determined and positive outlook.

For 60 wonderful years, Art shared his life with his beloved wife, Joyce Ann Beverleigh. Their marriage was a beautiful example of commitment and partnership. Together, they raised four children—Art Jr., Wendy, Erika, and Clinton “Jeep”—and built a family rooted in love, hard work, humor, and togetherness. Art was also a cherished grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of four.

Art is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonn Clinton Beverleigh and Lois Josephine Farr. A celebration of life will be announced once a location has been selected.

Cremation services will be held at the Magleby Mortuary Cremation Center. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, Manti
