Beth Jensen Neal, a woman defined by her kind heart and a deep love for her family and animals, passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 93.
She spent her final days in Mount Pleasant, Utah, surrounded by the love of her family.Born to Glen and Erma Jensen on December 11, 1931, in Ferron, Utah, Beth lived a rich and full life.
She found companionship with Bob Neal, and they married on March 9, 2002. Together, they enjoyed many years in Oregon before moving back to Utah in 2008 to be closer to their family.
Beth had a passion for life's simple pleasures. She was a great cook, an avid reader who loved a good mystery, and a lover of driving who found joy in the open road. She loved her pets, especially her dogs, Poppy, Daisy, and Lucky, and her feathered friends Petey and Pretty Girl, as true members of the family. Of all the beautiful places she visited, none captured her heart quite like Cannon Beach, Oregon. It was there that she found true peace and contentment.
Beth’s legacy lives on through her husband, Bob Neal, and her children: Kevan Olsen, Kelly Olsen, Nanette Olsen, K.C. Olsen, and April Smith. She is also survived by her dear sister Gayla Guyman. Her spirit is also carried on by her 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, George Eugene Olsen. Beth is now reunited in heaven with her son Guy Thomas, her parents, her brothers, Merrill and Pete, and her sister, Betty.
Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who were lucky enough to know her.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 1:30 pm, with a viewing before at 1:00 pm in the Ferron Cemetery.
