Beverly Raye Winn Cooper, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin & friend, passed away peacefully in her home in Murray, Utah, on April 11, 2026.

Beverly grew up in a loving home of eight children: with five brothers and two sisters. Beverly loved her parents and siblings deeply and cherished those relationships throughout her 88 years.

On Christmas Day in 1955, she married the love of her life, F. Duane Cooper. Together, they built a beautiful life, home, and family!

Beverly’s greatest joy was found in her family. She lived for the moments spent playing with her grandchildren and was never happier than when welcoming a new baby into the family fold.

Beverly was a great Mother. Beverly loved her kids, Joyce, Mike & Dan, with her whole heart and soul. She was so very proud of her children, who, in her mind, have achieved much greater accomplishments in life than are actually possible in reality.

Beverly cherished her grandkids, who were her passion in life. She built loving relationships with Aubrey, Skyler, Kenny, Shelly, Sara, Chase, Carl, Cassie & Maddie. Her legacy continues through her 21 great-grandchildren: Lucy Rose, Alivia Ray, Ethan Drake, Abbie Ann, Ryker Michael, Dorothy Grace, Hailey Jane, Cole Jay, Henry Bruce, Tai Michael, Aiden Duane, Kian Carl, Georgia Raye, Liam Hendrix, Piper Shellea, Wendy Joy, Koi Finnly, Calvin Cade, Milo Marcus, Aria Everly & Thomas Lynn. Beverly also loved her nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends!

Beverly was Shelter Mother for 16 years. She made a difference in many lives, providing immediate care, compassion, and a safe place for over 630 children.

Beverly was a homemaker, in every sense of that word, the kind that had dinner on the table every day at 5 o’clock, managed her home & family. She would whip up a wonderful home-cooked meal, feeding a houseful of family, from a seemingly empty cupboard, just like her mom. Beverly was talented and crafty. She made wedding cakes for many family & friends.

Beverly & Duane were both hard workers, building a home from basically a shell to a lovely, warm, welcoming home where everyone was loved and welcomed. Later, they bought her dream home, with a view, which made her proud.

Bev & Duane created a successful business, together creating wood crafts, decor, and shelves. Bev, Duane & family spent many happy years traveling to craft shows, sharing their handiwork and making lifelong friends along the way.

Beverly is survived by her loving children: Joyce (Ken) McDonald of West Valley City, Mike (Wendy) Cooper of Spanish Fork, and Dan Cooper of Murray. Her legacy also lives on through her nine grandchildren: Aubrey (Chris), Skyler (Hidie), Kenny (Kristen), Shelly, Sara, Chase (Lindsey), Carl (Shantell), Cassie (Ethan), and Madison, as well as 21 great-grandchildren. Beverly is also survived by siblings: Irene Winn, Rex Winn, Russell Winn, Susan (Sandy) Mulkey, Chad (Teresa) Winn, and Janis (Bryce) Nielson, as well as a large extended family of cousins’ nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, parents-in-law, brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
