Brent Cummings Lawson

November 19, 1947 — April 16, 2011

Brent Cumming Lawson, passed away April 16, 2011 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Provo, due to complications of cancer. He was born November 19, 1947 in Fillmore to Kenneth J and Evalyn Cummings Lawson. He was raised in Kanosh. He married JoAnn Fackrell, March 30, 1968 in Nephi.

Brent worked road construction for many years. The last 23 years he worked for Robinson Transport in Salina.

Brent enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being in the outdoors. Most especially, he loved being with family. He will be greatly missed by those he left behind.

Brent is survived by his wife, JoAnn, Annabella; children: Lisa (Efren) Silva, Salina; Corry (special friend, Charlene Hudson), Annabella/Orem; grandchildren: Tony (Amanda) Forbush, Noelia, Talissa and Brent Silva; great-granddaughter, Autumn Rose; father Kenneth, Kanosh; siblings: Bill Lawson and Lauralee Lawson, both of California; Marcia (Spike) Pinney, Texas; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his mother, Evalyn; grandparents, Bill & Leone Lawson, Will & Laura Cummings.

The family would like to give Robinson Transport a very special thank you for their love and support. Also, thanks to the Central Utah Clinic and Utah Valley Regional Medical Center doctors and nurses for their compassionate care of Brent.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Malgeby Mortuary, 50 S 100 W, Richfield. Friends may call Wednesday at the mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery with motorcycle escort by UMF. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
