Chris Davidson Timothy
Ephraim, UT

Christopher Jordan Davidson Timothy passed away May 24, 2023 at his home in Ephraim.  He was born on July 30, 1987, to Kathy DeBuck. Her courage and sacrifice blessed Janice and Paul Timothy to adopt and raise her son.
Chris spent much of his childhood in Pleasant Grove. He was a talented, creative, and mischievous little boy. Chris loved his animals, music, and friends. He attended Cherry Hill Elementary in Orem, Utah so that he could be enrolled in the Spanish immersion program. There he became proficient and was able to spend 2 months in Chile. As a teenager, he discovered bodybuilding and fitness, which became his passion. He set the bench press record at his high school and later at BYU Hawaii.
After high school, he met the love of his life Megan Righettini and they were married on May 3, 2008. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on April 13, 2010. They were then blessed to have four beautiful children. Julianna the oldest; an angel baby who is now reunited with their daddy; the adorable Faith; and the sweet, mischievous Kaiko.
After graduating from Snow College, they took their family to Laie, Hawaii where Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science at BYU Hawaii. During this time, he began competing in the National Physique Committee for bodybuilding. He then performed exceptionally well on stage. Chris would say, “Visualize the dream you’re seeking, then apply every ounce of your energy and focus towards it. Set your goals high and then don’t stop until you get there.”
In the year 2018, they moved back to Ephraim. Chris worked at Maple Leaf Seed Company which became one of the greatest blessings for him and his family.
In 2021, Chris was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma. The Stevens family became their saving grace to the very end. We will forever be grateful. Chris provided for his family every day without complaint. Even while attending scans, treatments, hospital visits, surgeries, and enduring great pain, Chris’s testimony never wavered and his love for the gospel grew exponentially. Cancer may have taken Chris’s body, but it never touched his spirit.
Chris’ siblings include:  McKenzie Davidson Timothy, Whitney (Tyler) Albee, Michelle Safadi, Curtis (Angela) Timothy, Matthew (Carol) Timothy, Shane Timothy.
