Clair Leon Daniels, 80, passed away at his home in Joseph on February 14, 2012 as a result of a stroke he suffered in November of 2009. He was born December 25, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant to Swen Olsen and Jessie LaBelle Brandon Daniels. He married Delores Munson on October 1, 1953 in Salt Lake City.
Clair was the owner and operator of County Church Antiques in Sevier for many years. He was a member of the LDS Church and part of the Joseph Ward Elder’s Quorum. He was a good husband, father and grandpa. We will miss him. He was born on Christmas Day and passed away on Valentines Day.
He is survived by his wife, Delores of Joseph; daughter, Julia Marie (Dale) Richards of Brigham City; three grandsons and their spouses; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Grant (Wilma) Daniels; sisters, Grace (Bill) Olsen and Vicky (John) Chatterly. He is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Clair Daniels and parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 in the Joseph LDS Ward Chapel located in Elsinore. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Elsinore, Friday from 9:30 to 10:30.
