Clarin "Clem" Johnson, 80, died peacefully at home on July 11, 2022. He was surrounded by his family. Clem was born February 3, 1942 to Von Elden and Clayola Curtis Johnson in Milford, Utah. Clem married Vicki Winkel on April 13, 1963 in the Manti Temple.
Clem was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was dedicated to serving others. He was a member of the Lions Club and the Richfield JC's.
Clem had a full, rich life. He loved his family and his horses. He loved to work hard and play harder. He was an avid cowboy, saddle maker, hunter, fisherman, bullet reloaded, team penner, and marksman. He loved camping and boating with his family. He was part owner in Winkel distributing and worked there for over 50 years. He made hundreds of saddles for people throughout the country. He could fix anything from a diesel engine to the smallest of toys. Whatever he did in life he did well and with a joke. Clem was well liked by everyone and will be missed dearly.
Clem is survived by his wife Vicki; his kids: Penny (Scott) Christensen, Tiffany (Ryan) Porter, Mindy (Arden) Smith, Cade Johnson; and his 12 grandkids and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and 3 brothers: Royce, McKay, and Chad. Also, a grandson Dakoda Jones.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Richfield 4th Ward where friends may call Friday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. and Saturday morning from 10:00 - 11:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
