Clark J. Wall of Venice, Utah, passed away at the age of 93. He was born on April 1, 1932, to Charles and Percinda Kloepfer Wall. He attended schools in Venice and Richfield, Utah, where he enjoyed classmates, activities and sports, particularly baseball and basketball. After graduating from Richfield High School, he continued working on the family farm and later joined the Richfield City Police Force.

He married his beloved “Beth” (Elizabeth) Thalman, in the Manti LDS Temple on June 13, 1951, and created a fulfilling and prosperous life centered on their 4 children - Jamie (Richard), Steven (Sharon), Teri (Richard) and Bret. After Beth’s passing in 1991, he married Linda Jean Sorenson on July 25, 1994. She embraced his family as her own with unwavering love and warmth. Together, they blended their families including her children - Dell (Kathy), Perry (MerriLynn), and Brent (Vivian) in the most beautiful way. Linda’s devotion to Clark was unmatched, caring for him tenderly and loving him deeply every single day.

Clark served in various Church callings. He also served in multiple community roles including All-State Baseball Player; Little League Baseball Coach; Referee for basketball and baseball; Politics and Delegate for Utah Republican Convention.

He was recognized as a farmer, rancher and business owner. He managed up to 1,200 acres of farmland, raised 15,000 sheep, and maintained a herd of cattle simultaneously. He served as a Board Member and President of the Sevier Valley Cooperative Association; Board Member and President of the Utah Cooperative Association until the merge with PAX to CENEX in 1976; Member of Farm Bureau and Farmers Union; Supporter of Future Farmers of America receiving the FFA Honorary Chapter Farmer; and Utah Cattleman’s Associate Member.

Clark served the Venice Pumping Company, Sevier County Water Users Association, Piute Reservoir and Irrigation Company, Central Utah Water Project, and 3 terms on the Utah State Water Resource Board being appointed to the State Power & Water Board by Governor Norman H. Bangerter to represent Millard, Sanpete, Sevier, Piute and Wayne Counties – overseeing many developmental water projects; Director & Agricultural Adviser of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce.

He was the owner and operator of Wall Tractor & Implement Company in Richfield, Utah. He worked closely with Intermountain Association Hardware & Implement Dealers as a member, Director, Vice President, President and National Director to the National Farm and Power Equipment Dealers Association receiving the National Distinguished Service Award. He was honored to attend the 50th American Presidential Inauguration for President Ronald W. Reagan in Washington D.C. in 1985 as an Agricultural and Commodity Community Representative.

His loyalty ran deep, and his heart was even deeper. Whether you needed a helping hand, a good laugh, or just someone to show up – he was there. He had a deep understanding of politics and a genuine desire to promote what would be best for the interests of all people. Through his profound knowledge and abundant resources, he devoted himself to advancing the well-being of others, focusing on the sustainable use of land, water, and all forms of life. He deeply cherished and supported his family, loved ones, and others. In return, he was greatly admired by those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Linda, 7 children, 26 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren who will all miss his hugs, kisses and sound advice. Viewing will be Friday, April 25, 2025 from 6:00 -7:00 pm at Magleby Mortuary. Burial will be in the Venice Cemetery.
