David Dean Duncan, 74, of Manti, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 12, 2018 in Manti. David was born January 19,1944 to Byron and Dorothy Duncan in Springfield, Minnesota. He married Bette Casto, August 12, 1966 but later divorced. David was a retired mechanical engineer. He enjoyed restoring old cars, fishing and many more outdoor activities with family and friends. He was a hard worker, a great father and a loving grandfather.

David is survived by his four children: Cary (Julie) Duncan, Peoria, AZ; Brian Steve (Jerri) Duncan, Santaquin; Brice (Mistie) Duncan, Manti; and Heather Luke, Tooele. David is also survived by his siblings: Gary (Sidnee) Duncan, Rick (Arlene) Duncan, Kathy (Larry) Sorenson, Becky (Curt) Kjar, and Kelly Nielson; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 a..m. in the Manti Stake Center, 555 East Union. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary, Manti on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and also at the church prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Manti City Cemetery.
