In loving memory of our husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Earl Dennis Gardner, age 82, who passed away August 9th, 2025, in Payson, Utah.
Dennis was born to Earl Blaine and Lois Mary Larsen Gardner on July 23, 1943, at their home in Mt Pleasant. He lived on the farm in Birdseye until the family moved to Salem and later to Orem.
Dennis graduated from Orem High School in 1961 and went on to the Army for two years, serving in Vietnam.
His father, Earl, passed away at a young age. His mother, Lois Mary, remarried Martin Sidney Cox in 1959. Dennis was happy to have a dad, and he always expressed his love for him, saying what a good man he was.
Dennis enjoyed working with wood and built many great and fun things, such as birdhouses, furniture, and much more. He always had a solution for how to make things work. He also enjoyed reading and had many magazine subscriptions and a large collection of books. He also enjoyed growing a garden when his health permitted.
Dennis was married four times, his fourth wife being Venna Olsen of Centerfield, to whom he was married for 30 wonderful years.
Dennis had five children, four boys and one girl. Gary Blaine, Westley Guy (both passed away as infants), Tyrel Jay (deceased), (Jenifer) Gardner, Russell Dee (Venessa), and Tiffany Dawn. He adopted 3 more sons, Danny Kay, Stephen M., and Gary D. He also had 5 stepsons, Todd (Chantelle), Trent, Tyler (Ruth), Tyson (passed), and Troy (Joli) Nay.
He was a grandpa to 28 grandchildren.
Dennis had four sisters: Alene (Jim), Crystal, Nadine (Richard) Stephens, Lisa (Rodney) Pulman, and Laura (Scott) Robbins.
