    Edward Richard Dix II, 71, passed away May 7, 2023 in St. George.  He was born January 7, 1952 to Albert “Pat” and Ileta Huntington Dix. He had 4 siblings: Kelley (Lynn) Dix, Robbie (Rick) Irish, Melodie (Tom) Wood and KC (Cathie) Dix.  
    A disabled veteran, he served in the United States Navy 1971 - 1975 and was honorably discharged.  
    He married Teresa C Wood in 1980 and together they had 3 children: Anngela Pender (Barry Stephenson), Jason (Shelly) Dix and Christopher Dix (deceased). They later divorced. On January 5, 1994, he married Vonniee Jessee Anderson and gained 3 bonus children from that union: Samantha (Kinsley) Meldrum, Casey (Philippe) Miché and Anthony (Valarie) Anderson.  
    He is survived by his wife of 29 years; 5 children, 4 siblings, 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by both his parents; son Christopher; grandson, Nicholas; and brother-in-law, Rick Irish.
