Gale H. Conder
Richfield, Utah

Gale H. Conder, 87, passed peacefully into eternity on September 20, 2023, in Provo, surrounded by her loving and dedicated family.  Gale was born in Richfield, to Max and Helen Ogden Evans . She entered this world with her twin brother Dale. They were second and third of 7 siblings: MacRay, Ruth, Marjory, Charles, and John.
She graduated from Richfield High School. She met and married Lee Verl Conder on June 10, 1954 at Richfield. They had 6 children: Tammy Marie (Gary) Weidle, Richard Verl Conder, Cindy Denise Conder Garff (Courtney Wilson, deseased), Jeanlee (Brian) Bertram, Michael V. (Laura) Conder, and Roger Evan (Rebecca) Conder. They were blessed with 26 grandchildren and a multitude of great-grandchildren.
Gale was an ever active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her testimony was unwavering, and she taught by example every day of her life. She was the truest example of a child of God.
Gale retired from Mountain Bell and Salt Lake Community College. She worked hard to both provide for and raise her family.
Gale was married and was sealed for time and all eternity to DeWayne Perkins on May 20, 1985. He proceeded her in death, and she remarried Verl and steadfastly remained at his side until his death on May 5, 2022.
An active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Gale held many offices in Camp Cove. She was an honorary member.
Gale has 3 step-children whom she always loved from her marriage to DeWayne: Dennis (Patti) Perkins, Cindy (Randy) Pectol, and Denise (Larry) Argyle; and many grand and great-grandchildren.
Gale was dedicated to every human being in her life, including those who had passed before her (some she never met). She was dedicated to maintaining and decorating graves. She was a talented seamstress and made countless baby blankets, prom and wedding gowns and general repairs.
She is also survived by her siblings: Dale (CeeCee) Evans, Marjory Jenson, Charles (Margo) Evans, John (Desra) Evans; brother-in-law, Morgan (Marsha) Busk.
