George Sandall

George E. Sandall, age 70, of Elsinore, Utah, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in Richfield, Utah, surrounded by his family. 

He was born April 19, 1956, in Ellenton, Florida, to Lena Jordan Pollard. He was raised in Palmetto, Florida, and along the Manatee River, where he spent time as a youth learning how to love the outdoors. 

When George was older, he served his country in the United States Navy, with tours in Vietnam. He spent 13 years in the Navy. 

Wherever he went, he was able to find joy in the outdoors, especially camping up on West with the grandkids. He also had a passion for fly fishing and adventuring to all of the lakes nearby to test them. In the fall, he would spend time archery hunting and riding his horse Woodrow in the nearby hills.

Another pastime George loved was spending time with his family and friends, spending late evenings talking about life, reminiscing on past stories, and enjoying his Gin and Tonic. 

He leaves many behind that loved him, his wife, TruDee Sandall; stepchildren, Robert (Stacey) and Caitlin (Vern); six grandchildren, Brandon, Amarissa, Bryson, Izabella, Oliver, and Tyson; and his siblings, Irene Richeson, Barbara Neuberger, and Carolynn Tucker. 

George was preceded in death by his mother, Lena Jordan Pollard; step-father Hershal Jordan; and siblings Ralph Harrel, EC Jordan, and Phyllis. 

George will be remembered for his love of family and the outdoors, and for the example he set through a life defined by faith, duty, and devotion to those he cared for.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Magleby Mortuary in Richfield. Viewings will be held at the Mortuary the evening of Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm and again prior to services on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.
Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery with Military Honors. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, and Manti
