Gerald "Jerry" William Ciciliano
May 7, 1949 — February 22, 2011
Gerald "Jerry" William Ciciliano, 61, of Aurora, Utah, returned home February 22, 2011, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born May 7, 1949, in Las Vegas, NV, to Patrick Robert and Estella Christine Snyder Ciciliano.
Jerry was a proud member of the Ironworkers Local #433 for over 40 years, as was his father and uncles before him, and helped in transforming the Las Vegas skyline along side his brother ironworkers.
After retirement, he moved to Aurora, UT where he enjoy hunting, fishing, riding horses and spending time with his family.
He was gifted with a quick wit and brought laughter to those around him. He had an unconditional love of family and was always the first to help anyone in need He is survived by his sons, Patrick Anthony Ciciliano, East Hartford, CT; Gerald Lucas Ciciliano, Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Ashley Cierra Ciciliano, Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Patsy Ferguson, Payson, UT; Cindy (Mike) Roberts, Vermillion, UT; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents a and sister, Faye Bundy.
A viewing and vigil service conducted by Father Rick Sherman of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church will take place on Sunday evening February 27, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 12 Noon in the Alamo, Nevada LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Alamo Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
