Gwen Kay Frandsen, 83, of Panguitch, Utah was born on June 29, 1937 in Panguitch.  Died April 20, 2021 at her home in Panguitch surrounded by her loving family.  Gwen was a loving, faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all those that knew her.  She graduated from Panguitch High School in 1955.  She married her sweetheart George Clark Frandsen in the Salt Lake Temple on October 18, 1954.  They have four beautiful children: Barbara Jean (Jim) Duckett, Cedar City; Sherrie Kay (Larry) Lynn, Kingman, AZ; Steven (Susan) Frandsen, Alpine; Michelle Mort (David Yardley), Las Vegas, NV; and her brother, Arlyn Jay (Ann) Proctor, Centerville. They have 19 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clark; her parents, Jay and Dudley Proctor; and great grandson Hayden Hansen.

Gwen was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Relief Society president in the Kearns 8th Ward and Panguitch North Ward ,and served as a Relief Society teacher.  She served as Primary president and teacher, Sunday School teacher, and as a visiting teacher, where her visiting teaching partners and the sisters she visited became lifelong friends.  She did extraction work for many years and loved genealogy and family history.
