Isaac Divett Hansen, 96, passed away February 18, 2011 in Richfield. He was born June 18, 1914, Salt Lake City, to Isaac Stewart and Sophia Kristine Sorensen Hansen. He married his sweetheart, Madge Christiansen June 13, 1941 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died November 30, 2005. He lived his entire life in Glenwood and built his home just a few feet from the one in which he was raised.

Divett was an active member of the LDS Church having served in many callings including Bishop, High Priest Group Leader, Elders Quorum President, Financial Clerk, scouting and was a faithful home teacher. He loved temple work and served several years in the extraction program. He loved to farm, fish, and hunt. He found much joy in caring for his beautiful yard and garden. He retired in 1979 after working for many years at Tri-State Lumber/Valley Builders. He was also on the Glenwood Town Board for ten years.

Divett is survived by his children: Rhea Dawn (Ron) Olcott, Hurricane; Peggy (Kent) Swallow, Flowell; Kenley (Ann) Hansen, Orem; Connie (Randy) Peterson, Blythe, CA; Loralee (Russ) Roberts, Lehi, 23 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Loree (Rulon) Thurston and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 26, 11:00 a.m. in the Glenwood Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday at the ward chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Glenwood City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
