    Isaiah Christian Taggart, 15, of Monroe, passed away on May 16, 2023 at his home.  He was born December 28, 2007 in Salt Lake City, the son of Amy Marie Taggart.
    Isaiah loved to play football and lift weights. He was so capable and talented at anything he tried.  He was always with his mom, learning and helping her.  If she was home, they were together. He spent a lot of time at his grandparents’ home.
    Isaiah loved to work and be in the mountain at the family ranch that was “his heaven”.  He loved to hike, listen to music, eat ice cream, tease his mom.  He had a great sense of humor, always wanting to make others smile. He had a way of befriending anyone he came in contact with.
    Isaiah is survived by his mother, Amy and her girlfriend, Sharon Orton; step-brother, Auston Marchant; grandparents, Pat and Kevin Taggart; aunts and uncles: Jeremy (Tyler) Taggart, Elizabeth (Shaun) Trusty, Tim (Annette) Taggart, Keith (Ashlee) Taggart, Anthony Taggart, Brenda Taggart, Jan (Aaron) Jessop, Michelle Taggart; and many cousins.
    Preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Gayle Taggart; Conrad and Bonnie Whipperman; uncle, Mark Taggart.
    Private family funeral services will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe 5th Ward Chapel.  Friends are encouraged to visit with the family Sunday evening at the Magleby Mortuary from 5-7 p.m and at the church Monday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
