Jo Ann Pollock Knaphus

Jo Ann Pollock Knaphus, 79, passed away on January 17, 2026, in Richfield.

Jo Ann was born in Richfield on April 15, 1946, to Glen Joseph Pollock and Peggy Ann Howard. As the eldest of eight children, she was the heart of a large and close-knit family, a role she embraced with love and dedication throughout her life.

Jo Ann married David Ernest Muir in October 1961, and they were later divorced. On September 4, 1970, she married Aaron Lee Knaphus; they also later divorced. Jo Ann’s life was defined by her devotion to her children and her deep roots in the Richfield community.

She is survived by her sons:

• David Kelly (Carie) Muir of Monroe

• Aaron Lane (Megen) Knaphus of Annabella

She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and her siblings: Jim Pollock, Linda Wilmot, Gayla Schmidt, and Kaye Jensen.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Peggy; her daughter, Sheri Jill Craven; her brothers, Gary Joe Pollock and Charles Pollock; her sister, Rebecca Anderson; her grandson, Kevin Thomas Muir; and her former husbands, David Ernest Muir and Aaron Lee Knaphus.

The family will be doing a Graveside Service on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at the Richfield City Cemetery, Richfield, Utah.
