Joan Lefevre Henrie passed away on December 19, 2025, in Hyrum, Utah.
She was born on February 3, 1942, in Richfield, Utah, to Thomas and Viola LeFevre. The third of five siblings, Joan cherished her childhood summers working and playing on the family farm alongside her brothers and sister.
A graduate of South Sevier High School, Joan pursued her passion for education at Utah State University, where she earned a degree in education. This achievement marked the beginning of a life devoted to teaching and nurturing others.
On June 25, 1965, Joan married Cornell Richard Henrie in the Manti Temple. Their marriage was one of enduring love until his passing on September 26, 1998. Together, they raised three children: Julie, Richard, and Ryan.
Joan found joy in simple but meaningful pursuits. She was an avid gardener and a skilled quilter. Her handmade quilts—each crafted with care for her children—remain treasured keepsakes that reflect her warmth and dedication.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Rowley LeFevre. Her memory lives on through her three children, Julie Annette (Heber) Hill, Richard Thomas Henrie, and Ryan Cornell (Robyn) Henrie, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her siblings.
