Our beloved daughter, mother, sister, wife, and friend, Joyce Ann Stoker, passed away on November 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Joyce was born in Richfield, Utah, on December 27, 1976, to Roger and Naomi Stoker.
Joyce was a free spirit. She left school at a young age to embrace her hippy ways, spreading love and light wherever she went. She spent her career in assisted living and food service, where she poured her heart into nurturing others.
From the sounds of The Grateful Dead to the magic of *The Nightmare Before Christmas*, her spirit flourished. Always adorned in swirly tie-dye, Joyce delighted in concocting new recipes for her family. Her love of the great outdoors led her to find peace in the mountains, where she reveled in camping and fishing.
She had a knack for keeping everyone on their toes, her playful and sometimes crazy personality reminding us all to embrace the moment. Independent and strong from a young age, she became the proudest mom to her son, Jaymon, who held a special place in her heart, and of course, she was proud of her long, red hair.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Joe Kunz; children, Jaymon Kunz, Lydia (Andy) Johnson, Savanna Kunz, and Trent Kunz; and two grandchildren. Her siblings: Richard (Lori) Stoker, Angela (Kirk) Payne, Deanna Stoker, David (Sheradee) Stoker, and Wayne (Chandra) Stoker.
Joyce was also preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Naomi Stoker, in-laws, Joyce Miller, and John Kunz.
