Katheryn "Kathy" Luke Fox was born on 7/16/1955 to Dwain and Shirley Luke in Richfield, Utah, as the last of four children. She grew up in Kingston, Utah, pranking her siblings and being pranked in return. She met Owen Fox, the love of her life, in high school at Piute High and happily married him once he returned from his LDS mission. Owen and Kathy were sealed in the Manti temple on 11/17/1977 for time and all eternity. They soon welcomed the first of 6 children, and Kathy dedicated her life to making her husband proud and thriving as a dutiful wife and mother. Contrary to her expectations, she loved leaving small-town Utah and living in San Diego, CA, for 10 years. She made lifelong friends and supported her husband and kids with endeavors big and small while living so far from extended family. Kathy became the consummate tour guide and hosted many visitors to Southern California. She was pleased to return to Utah when Owen's professional opportunities allowed, and spent many years in South Jordan surrounded by family and gracious friends. Kathy and her family are forever grateful for the support and love of friends near and far after Owen's early and unexpected passing. She has longed for the day she could be reunited with him for many years.
Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Owen K. Fox; her parents, Dwain and Shirley Luke; her parents-in-law, Shirl and Elna Fox; sisters-in-law Lydia Luke, Shirlene (Fox) Latzke, and Tina Fox; brother-in-law Sterling Fox; and nephew Billy Luke.
She is survived by her siblings Steven Luke, Shirlene Luke, and Leann (Marlon) Fox; her children Jodi (Kirk) Green, Tyler (Lyndsey) Fox, Tiffany (Noah) Cheney, Nicholas (Marisa) Fox, Veronica Fox, and Gordon (Lex) Fox; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
