    Kathryn Elaine Morrow Pendleton, 59, passed away after an extensive hard-fought battle with cancer, and was reunited with her sweetheart, Michael, on October 26, 2023 in Richfield.  Kathy was born September 2, 1964 in LaMesa, CA to James Mitchell and Evelyn Patterson Morrow.  Kathy and her family moved to Axtel when she was a teenager. She graduated from Gunnison High School. She met the love of her life, Michael Pendleton. They were married on March 19, 1983 in Richfield.  They had 24 years together when Michael preceded her in death on February 17, 2007.  They had two children: Chris and Whit, whom  she loved with all her heart and soul. They were her everything, as she theirs.
    Kathy found her calling when she decided to open her own daycare facility, “Kathryn’s Teddy Bear Daycare and Preschool”. She quickly became one of the best and most sought after child care providers in the valley. Ms. Kathy touched so many lives and had a profound impact on generations.
    Kathy also had a love for the outdoors. She loved snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, SxS, and hiking. On any given weekend, you could find her camping with family and friends, seeing the sites, and going on adventures.
    Kathy is survived by her children: Christopher Pendleton, Whitney (Casey) Pendleton; Keezley and Ace, her dogs; her dear friend, Chad Morwood; 4 sisters and 1 brother. Kathy was so proud of her family, they were her pride and joy.
    Preceded in death by her parents; husband; in-laws, Donald and Lisa Pendleton; and a grandson.
    Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 11th Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thursday evening at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield from 6-7 p.m. or Friday morning at the ward chapel from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
