Loretta Marie Messner Egan passed away September 13, 2018 in Sigurd. She was born June 17, 1942, in Los Angeles, CA, to Robert William and Lutie Missouri Kelling Messner. She was the youngest of seven children. She married her high school sweetheart, Homer William "Bill" Egan, Jr. in August, 1962 in Los Angeles, CA. He preceded her in death May 5, 2016. They moved to Sigurd, in June, 1972. They had two sons; Robert "Bobby" William Egan (formerly of Sigurd) and Eric LeRoy "Ricky" Egan, St. Louis, MO.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and oldest son. She is survived by her son Eric, and sisters Shirley and Sue.

Private family memorial services are pending. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warrior Project or First Responders Organizations be made.
