Mary Elizabeth Parker

October 28, 1950 — December 6, 2022

West Valley City, Utah

Mary Elizabeth Parker returned home to our Heavenly Father on Dec. 6, 2022, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Mary was a hard working mother who worked 2 or 3 jobs at a time to make ends meet. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cross stitch, and making quilts for the people she loved. She loved making breakfast rings for her friends at Christmas time. Her most recent passion was capturing photos of the great outdoors. She loved to volunteer and did a lot of volunteering from the 2002 Olympics to helping with COVID-19 vaccine sites.
She dedicated most of her career to Hercules. She eventually left Hercules and moved to L3 Communications and then she was able to officially enjoy her retirement.
She will be missed dearly by all the friends and family she leaves behind. She is survived by her children Scott Forman, Jenny (Chad) Gallegos, Jessica (Shane) Player and 7 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Betty Parker, older brother and sister-in-law Terry (RaeDawn) Davis.
Celebration of life services with viewing will be held on Monday Dec.12, 2022 from 11:00-1:00 at the LDS Church in the Relief Society Room, 7035 w LochNess Ave, West Valley City, UT 84005. Please enter on the southwest side of the building. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
