    Meta Warenski Shulsen, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away surrounded by family in her home on June 20, 2023.
    She was born January 6, 1944 in Richfield to Owen P and Meta Owens Warenski.  She later moved to Salt Lake City where she met the love of her life Glade Shulsen and soon married and raised their family.
    Meta’s greatest joy in life was her family and was devoted to them.  She loved working and keeping busy, she worked many years as a paralegal and a teacher’s aide.  She was proud of her many accomplishments, working with the PTA, Daughters of Utah Pioneers and years of volunteer work at Sevier Valley Hospital.  She also faithfully served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    The family extends a special thank you to everyone for all of your kind thoughts,  prayers and support during this time.  Also a thank you to Zion’s Way Hospice for their loving care of our wife and mother.
    Meta is survived by her husband, Glade; children: Lisa Shulsen, Taylorsville;  Roger (Joleen) Shulsen, Bend, OR; Travis (Melanie) Shulsen, Central; Eric Shulsen, Monroe; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Ann Washburn.  She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Ned, Betty, William and Marjorie.
    Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe 3rd Ward Chapel, 140 South Main in Monroe.  Viewings: Thursday evening from 6 to 7 at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield and at the church on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.  Burial will be in the Joseph Cemetery.  Funeral Directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
