Michael Gene Marsh, age 54, of Monroe, passed away on April 29, 2026, in Provo, Utah. He was born on April 23, 1972, in Cedar City to John Rankin Marsh and Virginia Standley Marsh. Michael was a caring husband, father, son, and friend whose presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him.
For more than 25 years, Michael worked as a professional painter and became well known for his remarkable artistry and dedication to his craft. His talent could be seen not only in his work, but in the pride and care he brought to every project and every person he met.
Outside of work, Michael loved camping and spending time outdoors. He was also a gifted storyteller whose humor, imagination, and unforgettable stories brought joy to family and friends alike. He had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and entertained wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl White.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn McRae Marsh; his son, Sean Marsh, and grandchildren, Michael and Morgan; his daughter, Shanell Marsh, and grandchildren, Ronan and Jezemae; and his step-son, Masen Moody, and mother, Virginia Standley Marsh.
Michael will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his creativity, kindness, hard work, and the lasting impact he made on everyone around him.
A family celebration of life was held on May 7, 2026, at the home of Dallas and Arin McRae, where family gathered to honor and remember Michael’s life, stories, and the many memories he created with those he loved.
Cremation was held in the Magleby Mortuary and Cremation Center — Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, and Manti
