Michele Hintze passed away on November 20, 2025, at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on November 10, 1952, in Lewiston, Utah, to Verden Lynn and Emeline Sophie Sweeny Talbot. She was a twin to Nicole Hess and a sister to Frank, Betty, and Emeline. Michele pursued higher education, earning a bachelor’s degree, and built a career as a dedicated medical transcriptionist.

She married Brent Hintze on December 18, 1971. They were just shy of celebrating 54 beautiful years together. They raised two children, Chad and Kirk, and spent much of their time cheering on their favorite sports teams, including the Chicago Bears and the Utah Utes. Michele loved watching her children play sports and was a superior scorekeeper for the Westside Babe Ruth series. Michele was an avid reader and shared her love of books and the music of Toby Keith.

Michele is survived by her beloved husband, Brent Hintze; her sons, Chad (Amy) Hintze and Kirk (Camille) Hintze; their six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, 20, 2025, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at the Larkin Funeral Home located at 3688 W 12600 S, Riverton, UT 84065.
Interment will take place at a later date in the Monroe City Cemetery.
