Mildred "Millie" Elizabeth Warner

January 24, 1923 — February 5, 2012

Mildred Elizabeth Belisle “Millie” Warner, age 89, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2012 at the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Sr. Villa, in Roosevelt.

She was born in Many, Louisiana to John Milton and Alice Wagley Belisle on January 24, 1923.

She excelled in sewing and cooking, sharing her talents with many friends, family and strangers. She also enjoyed gardening, taking great pride in her lawn and flowers. Millie loved music and played the clarinet in high school and college marching bands.

She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After serving a mission to the Eastern States Mission, she married Glen Warner in the Salt Lake City Temple on November 29, 1946. Together they served three international missions for the Church. He died August 1, 2005.

Millie’s four children are Elizabeth (John) Balle, Glen B. (Pat) Warner, Gayle (John) Foster, and Philip “Bo” Warner. She is also survived by her sister Hannah (Lyle) Hoop, 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen T. Warner and her sister Dorothy Moon.

A viewing and celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11 2012 at the Glenwood Ward Relief Society Room, followed by interment at the Glenwood Town Cemetery.
