Patricia Jacobson

Patricia Gaye Snyder Jacobson was born July 29, 1955, in Moses Lake, Washington, to Glen Howard and Avilda Fairbanks Snyder. She graduated from Provo High School, class of 1973. She married Clyde Dean Jacobson on April 9, 1976. They were sealed for time eternity in the Manti LDS Temple on September 25, 1981, and together they had 5 wonderful children. She passed peacefully at home with her true love and eternal companion at her side on June 8, 2026.

From a very young age, Tricia naturally took very good care of the people and animals around her. She was a passionate equestrian, to say the least. While she loved all animals, horses brought much enjoyment to her life. Tricia was well known for her cooking, cakes, and welcoming home. Her home was a sanctuary for many. It often jokingly had a “gas leak” because when you were there, you were comfortable enough to nap often mid-conversation.

She loved 4-H, horse shows, holidays, decorations, homemaking, camping, traveling, ATV riding, painting ceramics, crafts, helping kids dress for horse shows, dances, costume parties, and any special event. Trisha happily kept the Snyder Family Fall Festival tradition going. She loved having her family dress the part with a new theme each time. The Vikings were one of the best.

Tricia always had a listening ear and was full of the best advice when you didn't even know you needed it. She was a strong example of compassion, kindness, hard work, respect, dignity, and enjoying the time we have on this earth.

Patricia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served many years in the Relief Society, Young Women's, compassionate services committee, and Activities Committee. Her passion for decorating for ward events and parties could never be matched, often complaining that 6 months just wasn't enough time to plan and bring her ideas to life, and still somehow managing to get her entire family as excited as her and into costume. Everyone was always in awe of her talent. She had a strong testimony of the plan of salvation and our ability to be families forever.

She is survived by her husband, Dean, for 50 years. Children: Treena, Christine, Camron, and Jason (Misty). Brothers and sisters Irene (Don) Hess, Mike (Sylvia) Snyder, Peggy Davis, Marla (David) Hughes, Wendy Ledbetter, Nancy (Rodney) Perchshon, David Snyder, Richard (Kristie) Snyder. 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Clyde Douglas Jacobson. A beautiful reunion in heaven is going on at this time.

The family wishes to thank the staff from Zions Way Home Health and Hospice and Sevier Valley Dialysis, along with all those who have and will continue to share their love, memories, and support at this time.

Graveside and Interment will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 19, 2026, in the Vermillion Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to services from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Sigurd Ward Chapel.
