RAMONA JULANDER, 86, MONROE, passed away November 11, 2025, in Provo, Utah, surrounded by family.

She was born on September 25, 1939, in Elsinore, Utah, to Van and Alfaretta Gleave Barney. She attended grade school and Jr. High while living there. Then went on and graduated from South Sevier High School in Monroe, Utah, with honors, receiving a scholarship to attend Dixie College in St. George, Utah.  Following college, Ramona joined the Air Force and went on to become a Secretary for several Generals.

While stationed in Puerto Rico, she met Paul Ken Deslandes, and they were married on October 3, 1960. They were stationed on many Air Force Bases throughout the world. Then, after Ken's retirement, they moved to Florida, where they finished raising a daughter, while they both worked for North Miami City.

She then realized her dream was to move back to Sevier Valley and became known as "The sweet secretary" on Main Street in Richfield.

Ken passed away in 1999, leaving her a widow, and several years later she caught the attention of a High School friend from her past, Dallas Julander, who was also a widower. They became man and wife on September 25, 2006. She now had her "dream come true", a loving husband and a large family with open arms and caring hearts who call her mom and grandma. She was a wonderful addition to the Julander family and was loved immensely!

She is survived by her husband, Dallas Julander, sons Jeff (Kim) and John (Reina), and daughters Christine (Steve) and Debra Moore (Bob), and 10 grandchildren, 8 grandchildren, and Sister Oma Santos.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Father and Mother, Brothers: Ivan, Nathan (Marilyn), Mahlon (Shirley), Lane (Ruth), Renton (Zan), and Brother-in-Law Robert Santos.

Cremation Services will be provided by Magleby Mortuary of Richfield, Salina, & Manti.
