Richard Stanley Pollock, 84, passed away in his home on the morning of January 28, 2026. He was born on June 21, 1941, in Kanab, Utah, and grew up in Tropic, Utah, and spent most of his life in Panguitch, Utah, a place he proudly called home.
Stan worked for many years as a timber faller and laborer. He wasn’t one to seek recognition—he simply showed up, worked hard, and did what needed to be done. Providing for his family was important to him, and Stan took pride in the life he built through perseverance and dedication.
Stan married Anna Gass on October 11, 1962, and they had a wonderful, full life built on love, devotion, and family. More than anything, Stanley was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His wife, Anna, was the love of his life, and the family they built together meant everything to him. He loved his children deeply and had a special, gentle bond with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Time spent with them—watching, listening, and simply being together—brought him his greatest joy.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Ilan Davis Pollock and Nida Riding Pollock; his beloved wife, Anna Pollock; his sons, Cory Brent Pollock and Troy Stanley Pollock; his daughter-in-law, Jolene Pollock; and all of his siblings.
Graveside Services will be held at the Panguitch Cemetery on February 2, 2026. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary of Richfield, Salina & Manti
