    Robert David Swartz, 85, passed away August 20, 2022 in Troy, Michigan.  He was born May 17, 1937 in New York.  He is the husband of Betty Swartz for 51 years. Caring father of John (Medria) Swartz and David Swartz.
    He was a professor of Geography and Urban Planning at Wayne State University for 33 years.  He enjoyed travel and visiting the western landscape in the U.S., especially in Utah.
