    Ronald Foy Curtis, 86, passed away at home on January 19, 2024. He was born on December 18, 1937 in Aurora to Herald Lero and Mary Emily Hunt Curtis. He was the 2nd of 10 children. He married Lynda Ann Forbush on July 13, 1957 in the Manti Temple. She preceded him in death on November 10, 2012. 

    Ron was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was a great example of love and hard work. He was a welder and mechanic by trade. Ron could fix anything with what he had. He kept many farmer’s equipment running day after day.

    Ron loved his family, the desert and Accord Lake. He spent time teaching his children how to ride horses. He had many great experiences camping and riding with family and friends. He was a member of the Monroe Riding Club, served on the Monroe City Council and was a volunteer fireman for many years.

    Ron is survived by his children: Cathy (Kevin) Reber, Kelly (Kurt) Meacham, Kimball Curtis, Craig (Nicole) Curtis; 26 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a brother and 5 sisters.

    He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lynda; parents; and 3 brothers.

    Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Monroe City Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield — this will be the only visitation. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
