Sherrie Margaret May, 67, passed away on July 30, 2026, at the Mission at Community Rehabilitation Center in Centerfield, Utah.
She was born on May 5, 1959, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Eddie C. and Bonnie L. Roberts May.
Sherrie graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello through their special education program. She was very proud of her accomplishment, as we all were! She loved reading and “my math”.
She was very active in Special Olympics and won medals in swimming, bowling, and horseback riding.
She loved laughing, giggling, and teasing, especially the men in her life and all who spoiled her with colors, paper, and treats! She also loved all those who tenderly cared for her while she was living at her "mansion", Mission at Community Center. Her family will always be grateful for you!bot
In 2016, Sherrie moved to Manti, Utah, to live with her sister and brother-in-law, Mickie and Dennis Hansen. She loved television, visitors, and her nieces and nephews: Dan Hansen (Autumn) Kingman, AZ, Andy Hansen, Tollgate, UT, Lacie (Larry) Stephensen, Reno, NV, Ken (Sherri) Hansen, Ephraim, UT, and Misty Metelko, Price, UT.
Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Trudie Lee Aiken, and nephew, David L Hansen. Cremation services were held at Magleby Mortuary Cremation Center with future burial next to her parents in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, and Manti
