Shirley Ann Cleverly passed away the morning of May 26, 2020 at the age of 77 years old in her home in Salina Utah. She was born June 2, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Clifford and Leah Jensen.

Shirley was a loving woman who lives on by her two sons Kirk and Steve, her 3 grandchildren, and her friends. Shirley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Shirley grew up in the Salt Lake Valley area until she moved to Elko, Nevada where she lived for 5 years before moving back to Salt Lake City. Shirley had experience in many fields of work from her time working at Discover Card, to working at Litten Industries wiring guidance control systems in helicopters and missiles. Shirley moved out to Salina in the summer of 2014 with her two sons where she lived out the rest of her days.

Shirley enjoyed sewing and knitting. You could almost always find her at her sewing machine making table runners, pillows, and fixing holes in clothes. When she wasn’t at her machine you could find her knitting hot pads, wash clothes, and blankets. Shirley discovered her love for quilting shortly after moving to Salina. She was always wanting to try new patterns and learn new skills from her friend Barbra Bumgardner. When Shirley’s health started to decline she picked up the hobby of puzzles on her kindle where she would put together several different beautiful pictures on her kindle. Shirley loved going for rides with her son and dog to explore the countryside and the many sights to see. She loved seeing the many animals of the area, especially the deer, elk, and large herds of cows. She loved watching the birds come and feed at the bird feeder that she had on her front porch. She will be remembered for her love of watching Live PD, her cherry Pepsi, and her love of professional wrestling.
