Terry Lamb
Elsinore, Utah
Our beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, Terence “Terry” Michael Lamb, passed away in his home, in Elsinore, on the morning of Monday, January 1, 2024. Terry was born May 17, 1950, in Derby, England to Terry and Marie Lamb. They traveled by boat to Canada when he was 7 years old. They moved to California a few years later. Terry was a cross-country and long-distance runner at Bolsa Grande High School where he will always hold records. He also ran in college at San Luis Obispo.
Terry served in the US Army while in Germany with his brother, Ian, where he loved to play soccer for the US Army against various towns. After moving to Utah, he served in the Utah National Guard 222nd where he was a mechanic and operated howitzer cannons. Terry specialized in NBC (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical warfare) for the last 19 years of the military. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Desert Storm. He was a wonderful mentor to so many young soldiers who started with the triple deuce and loved every minute of it. He finished his final years in Cedar City and then headquarters in Draper. He retired with honors on June 14, 2006.
Terry met the love of his life, Naomi, in Cedar City while they were both in college. They were married on October 28, 1978, at the outlook above Cedar City. After a handful of years, they chose to move to Beaver where they raised their 3 children. Terry loved to coach many sports and travel with his girls around Utah to watch them compete. Terry made such an impact on so many young lives while he coached many years of soccer, baseball, and softball.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Naomi; his 3 daughters: Jessica (Patrick) Jensen, Marie (Phillip) Manchester, and Teresa (Jesse) Chapman; brother, Ian; 17 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Chris and Pete Lamb; son-in-law, Jesse Chapman; and grandson, Jonathan Chapman.
Terry loved to hunt, fish, and just be in the mountains with his family. His biggest love was definitely the fishing that he did with his grandkids. He loved the summer family reunions in the Beaver mountains where he could fish forever.
Terry made friends wherever he went. Work was never work for him because he enjoyed each and every one of his jobs and the people he worked with.
The family would like to thank all the amazing people that have reached out during these hard times.
