Thomas James Gray, 92, passed surrounded by loved ones on April 25, 2025. Tom was a loving husband, father grandfather, great and great-great grandfather. His greatest joy in life was seeing the ones he loved happy. He was always ready to greet anyone with the biggest smile and enjoyed church on every Sunday he could. He had the strongest faith.

“Tom” was born March 24, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Peter Moroni Gray and Lillie May Alsip. He married Laura Jean Frandsen, January 13, 1967 and they had two daughters, Carla and Georgann.

Over the years, he was often seen watching some of his favorite shows from roller derby, westerns and his favorite, wrestling. He loved to tell stories to the younger generations from the Korean war, where he was honored with the bronze star. He worked at a warehouse where he would bring home bricks of chocolate.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father, Peter Gray, mother, Lily Alsip, wife, Laura Frandsen, grandson, David Christensen, and great-grandson, Talyn Gray. He is survived by two daughters, 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Panguitch 1st Ward Chapel at 12:00 Noon. There will be a viewing prior to services from 10:30 - 11:30 am at the church. Interment will be in the Panguitch Cemetery.
