Travis Dee Simpson, a beloved father, grandfather, and dedicated youth counselor, passed away at his home in Richfield, on March 25, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on May 1, 1959, in Manti, Utah, to Bob and Kenna Simpson, Travis grew up with a spirit of kindness and compassion that would guide him throughout his life’s journey.
Travis devoted his career to uplifting the next generation as a youth counselor, where he made a significant impact on countless lives. His warm presence and unwavering support helped many young people navigate their challenges, and he will be remembered for his dedication to their growth and development.
Travis was an amazing father and grandfather, leaving behind children, Nathan Simpson of Washington, Utah, Bric Simpson of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Tyler Torgenson of Richfield, Utah, Seth DuVan of St. George, Utah, and Ashlee DuVan of Gunnison, Utah. His legacy is further cherished through his eight grandchildren, whom he adored deeply.
Travis's personality shone brightly in the lives of those he touched, and he will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passing leaves a remarkable absence in the lives of his family, friends, and community.
