Violette Ruth Anderson Greenhalgh, born November 5, 1933, in Springville, Utah to William Clive and Melva Demer Anderson, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She grew up in Chester, Utah, alongside her five sisters and one brother - together known fondly as “The Chester Reds” for their striking red hair.
Violette cherished her family deeply, and some of her happiest moments were spent sharing coffee with her sisters - a lively redheaded gathering full of stories, laughter, and love.
A true lover of the outdoors, Violette found joy in camping, exploring the hills for hours, and rock-hounding treasures from the earth. For many years, she could be seen cruising around Ephraim in her beloved silver dune buggy with Snoopy on the back, a sight that brought smiles to everyone who knew her.
Violette was the proud mother of four children, grandmother to seven grandchildren, and great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
Her legacy is one of warmth, humor, adventure, and fierce family devotion. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Cremation services will take place with a Celebration of Life service held at a later date in August, 2026. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
