    Walter Don Colby, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 2, 2022 at Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield.  He was born August 16, 1935 in Salina to Walter Elisha and Georgia Iola Manwill Colby.  He married Jeannice Chavez on January 26, 1958 in Pioche, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Payson Temple on September 9, 2017. She preceded him in death on October 22, 2017.
    He is survived by his daughters: JoDawn Allen, Dalores Jean (Justin) Kurdupski, Jeannine (Tony) Heaps; 9 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Ray Colby.
    He is also preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Russell K Crane; grandsons: William Brandon Allen and James Don Crane; siblings: Marciel Snedeger, Larry Colby, LaRae Anderson, Steven Colby
    Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel where friends may call from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery with military honors by the Sevier Valley American Legion Post #37 and Air Force Honor Guard .
