William “Bill” Arland LeMmon, 87, of Richfield, Utah, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Known to family and friends as Bill, he was born October 20, 1938, in Panguitch, Utah, to William Vernon and Myrtle Henrie LeMmon. He attended Ogden High School and continued his education at the University of Utah. Bill then served in the United States Air Force, where he pursued his passion for aviation. Bill served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Great Lakes Mission from 1958 to 1960.
Bill married Berniece Hatch on June 9, 1961, in the Manti Utah Temple. They made their home in Bountiful, where he worked for Univac performing fabrication and tool maintenance. The couple later moved to Richfield, where he worked for Jack Kyhl Construction. He later worked as Facilities Manager for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Berniece passed away in 1985. Bill then met Vickie Ann Puzey, and they married later that year in the St. George Utah Temple.
Bill loved building anything with wood, from houses to small trinkets for his friends and family. He especially enjoyed building and flying remote control planes. Bill was best known for telling really bad dad jokes to anyone who would listen.
He leaves behind his wife, Vickie; his children, David A. (Kim) LeMmon, Steven Roy (Alesha) LeMmon, Russell William (Michele) LeMmon, Shanna (Bryson) Marble, Thomas I. (Nancy) Muir, and Ann M. (Scot) Acton; his brother, Ronald Vernon LeMmon; sister-in-law, Linda LeMmon; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Berniece, and his parents, Bill is also preceded in death by his siblings: Marlene (V.C) Johnson and Garnon A. LeMmon.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield East Stake Center, 800 North 500 East, where friends may call on Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:30. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery with Military Honors. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina, and Manti.
