Wilma Irene Smith

Wilma "Willie" Irene Smith, the great Matriarch of the Haws family, peacefully passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 88 in Richfield, Utah.

Born August 28, 1937, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Harold Niswender and Ellen Weaver. 

Surviving family include her loving Husband Paul of more than 40 years of marriage, her very dear brother Lauren "Mac" Niswender, Her sons Michael Haws, Ronald Haws, Steven Haws and Linda Haro(Eddie), grand children Desiree(Steve), Shane(Melissa), Destiny, Kayla and Jason, numerous great grand children, Mariah, Trey, Lacey, Rylan, Alianah, Emma, Aubrey, Mckenna, Kayleigh and Christopher Jr. plus numerous others.

Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ellen Niswender, her brother Byron "Bus" Niswender, her sister Imogene "Jean" Gillig, her son Tony Haws, her grandson Christopher Haws Sr., and her only daughter Corlin "Sue" Haws Lucas. 

Mom "Willie" loved nothing more than her family and will continue to love them in this life and beyond.

She was always there for everyone at anytime and her loss will be felt by her entire family forever. Please cherish her memory for eternity.

Cremation services will be held in the Magleby Mortuary and Cremation Center.
